Mandarin Orange is a manufacturer/wholesaler
dedicated to supplying boutiques and specialty
shops worldwide with finely crafted, unique products
from China. At Mandarin Orange we know what a
boutique business needs in today's retail market
to maintain its competitive advantage over larger
stores. We offer new and creative products that
we design and produce in small quantities and
sell wholesale. Our products are handmade by local
artisans, never mass produced and are all about
Asia. The Mandarin Orange product line will continue
to evolve as long as the creative juices flow,

| In 1992, Carleen left New
York's Greenwich Village for Beijing, China. China
was never really in Carleen's master plan but opportunity
knocked and she began a new career as Corporate
Communications Director for a large-scale manufacturing
concern based in Beijing. While enjoying her role
at the company, after nine years opportunity knocked
again and she teamed up with Darcy in 2001 to start
Mandarin Orange. |
| At age seven, Darcy made
her first attempt to get to China by following the
suggestion of her father--if she dug a hole deep
enough she would get there! Dad finally came clean
about the joke, but Darcy's determination was even
stronger. In 1986, she left her hometown of Pittsburgh,
PA for a semester of study in China. In 1990, she
returned to Asia and after nine years in the corporate
world, she started the "Mahjong Collection".
